I love azaleas. My grandmother's yard was full of them! She had them planted all along the front as shrubs and in the back in her many flower beds. In the spring it was a burst of color!
The azalea is gorgeous. I remember my mom planting one in our yard, but it didn't do well in the VT winters. Now I see them in some yards. A hardier plant breed or climate warming?
Absolutely beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks - amazing what the sunshine brought.

ReplyDeleteThese were so much smaller 20 years ago. They got huge!
DeleteThanks Candice, love the colors myself.

ReplyDeleteProbably climate warming. Now my dad thinks these are rhododendrons - I know azaleas are in that family. Big debate now going on :)
