Flowers That Did Not Check The Weather Forecast

Dunkin Donuts
It was so cold I had to stop and get a hot chocolate from Dunkin Donuts

It was a cold November day this past week and I went for a walk on my lunch hour. It was the most relaxing hour of the week for me. I was surprised to see what I  found along the way. I wasn't planning on taking pictures. When I saw the flowers still in bloom and some plants budding I was very surprised. Didn't they know what the temperature was? They probably did not pay attention to the weather forecast. If you are in the path of where Sandy was a few weeks ago you may want to check out the upcoming week's forecast calling for possible flooding. Let's hope they are wrong.

Do you still have many flowers blooming in your area?

  1. I haven't seen any flowers around here. The trees have lost most of their leaves and then there are the stark naked ones. I love to look at flowers but somehow the need to see naked trees and snow overwhelms me this time of the year. :) I love the yellow leaves on that one pic! Beautiful! Thanks for sharing

  2. Yes, I still see a few flowers blooming here and there. They look especially nice because there aren't that many.
I really like the picture of the bright blue sky with the few yellow leaves left.

    1. Thanks Happyone, I was surprised to see it all because it was very cold. I had wished I had mittens on that day. It was warmed up since, I wonder if more flowers will pop out?
