Taking the long way home sometimes can bring about the beauty of nature. This horse was just beautiful among the lush green grass. I just had to stop and take a few photographs.
The historical cemetery was across the street. It is still well maintained. I always wonder about the stories that these cemeteries may have buried.
Do you ever visit any historical cemeteries in your area?

I love me some horses! I love looking at old cemetaries and reading the old stones. A lil creepy at times but there is so much history. Thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteThanks Bren. I thought it just looked stunning near the grass. I would not visit the cemeteries at night :)
ReplyDeleteWhat? Are you afraid of the dead? ;)
DeleteJust creepy at night :)
DeleteI have to agree. Eerie, I've watched too many horror movies where bad things happen at night at the cemetary!
DeleteNow you guys are scaring me!
DeleteWe always take the long way home, if at all possible. We almost always find something memorable. Thanks for sharing your finds with us.
ReplyDeleteI have to do that more often George. Thanks for coming by.
DeleteWhen we are up on our land in western Maryland and I take my morning walk in town, I walk around 3 small old cemeteries. Love walking there.
ReplyDeleteThat's how you get those beautiful morning pictures Happyone. It sure must be peaceful.
