Chippy the Chipmunk is Back With the Pretty Flowers

If you have visited this blog for a year you may have remembered Chippy. He was the friendly chipmunk always ready for a photograph. If he is the same chipmunk this year he is a little shyer. He hid a few times before I got this shot of him. Chipmunks can live for 2-3 years and do not store fat when they hibernate.

The white flowers grow wild all over the yard near picky bushes. Can anyone tell me their name?

The peony, my old time favorite for it's color, short life and beautiful smell, has come out again for a few short days.

What are you favorite flowers this time of the year?

  1. I would be interested to know what those flowers might be. My peonies are just starting to open. They will be beaten down by the rain, I'm afraid.

    1. Hi Olga, yes, I may try Google with their photo search if I don't hear soon. Mine have been hit now by the rain here. We have had a lot for June. Thanks for coming by Olga.

  2. Hi Lisa,

Love the colors and little fellow too ;) Do they come around frequently? They are really cute.

I didn't know they had a limited lifetime :O What if human beings could live only 2-3 years? Oops!

I didn't know of Peony until I find it via you :) I really love its color but never seen one in real though. Really? You have no idea where those white flowers came from? :) They are beautiful. BTW Google couldn't find what it is.

    Cheers...
