Views from the Island of Jamestown

I took a little trip to the island of Jamestown as July is quickly coming to an end. It normally is a 35 minute ride but with traffic it was around an hour today.
You may have remembered last year's views of the tall ships leaving. I was hoping to catch a view of the Black Ships this year but my arrival time was off.
It still was a crowded place in Jamestown yesterday as summer is gearing up for it's final month. You can see the ships and boats off the coast. The last picture is the condominiums that were once a hotel along the Atlantic ocean called the Bay View Hotel.
Isn't the architecture grand?
Are you savoring the last week of July before August arrives?

  1. This looks like a marvelous place in which to spend a summer day, even if the traffic is horrible. That old hotel is a magnificent building.
