Every now and then there is an opening to the old Fort Wetherill area - this is just one area of the large fort compound comprising of 51 acres

 This area under the fort is where many scuba divers go off the Altantic Coast in Jamestown, RI and where a movie, Moonrise Kingdom was recently made.

    Thanks for sharing Lisa! It's great to get to see Rhode Island in all it's beauty. When I was there, I was 7 or 8 and don't remember too much of it. Great to revisit via your pictures!
