What a difference a few hours makes when the sun arises and you can see the snow in the sunlight and blue skies above. Even the birds were out enjoying the snow. The total snowfall ended up at 8".
Wow... Snow with the Blue Sky is very fascinating :) What would happen to the Earth if snow is not only for this season?
I was always staring at last pic Lisa :D Saw it on FB too. But no idea about what was what and what happened there ;) Anyway love the light blue on the snow there :)
Ah yes, it does look lovely with the blue, doesn't it (also means there isn't more coming imminently). Was that a snowball rolling around pushed by the wind in the last photo ?
Lisa, isn't the snow beautiful against that bright blue sky?
If you can, take a drive down Rt 1A into Saunderstown/Narragansett until you reach Casey Farm. The expanse of untouched, shimmering-in-the-sun snow stretching out into Narragansett Bay, with the Newport Bridge (I still call it that) in the background, is utterly breathtaking.
Yes, love it with blue skies. Michelle, I would love too, just need a few extra hours in my day. Maybe the next storm. I still call it the Newport Bridge, we are true Rhode Islanders.

Thanks Mayura. We would probably have a drought :) The wind took the snow off the light and put it elsewhere...
DeleteBeautiful pictures Lisa! You should start framing some of those. Did you take these with your DNA?
ReplyDeleteThanks Brenda, thinking about it. Yes. I think I got the settings working better now :)

ReplyDeleteAll the best in the New Year !
Yes Rick, so much better than gray skies. Yes, the snow cap was on the light and the wind took it off and moved it. Very odd.
DeleteGorgeous snowy pictures.
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year.
Thanks Happyone, have a wonderful 2013!
