Rhododendrons and Peonies All In Pretty Pink

Rhododendron

beautiful Rhododendron in pink

peony starting to bloom

It's about that time of year again when the rhododendrons bloom beautiful bright pink colors and the peonies starts to bloom. The peonies really started to bloom with the temperatures reaching the low 90's the past few days.
I had to look back at last year and see when they started to sprout blossoms and it was early May.

Do you have lots of flowers that are now in bloom?
And are your allergies acting up? According to an allergy doctor the ugly plants are the cause of it.

It's been a bad year for allergies here!

    1. Thanks Bren. Do you have different color ones down there? It's good to know it's not the pretty flowers bothering our allergies though :)

  2. Your rhododendrons are very beautiful. Ours are now gone, although they did bloom later this year than last year. Fortunately I haven't had any problems with allergies so far. I hope that keeps up.

    1. Thanks George. Wow, yours are gone already? Do you have them in any different colors? You are lucky not to have them.

  3. My mother used to try to grow rhododendrons but they never took. Maybe now with global warming it might work. I have pink peonies, but they have not blossomed out yet. Actually, I like the looks of the buds anyway.

    1. Thanks Olga. Was it a warm region all the time or hot summers? I have got to check mine today with the heat and see if they are blooming more. Thanks for coming by and taking a look :)

    1. Hi Happyone, you are LUCKY. I have had bugs bite too - especially ticks. Had Lyme disease a few times over the years. I try to be so careful now.

  5. Hi Lisa,

Wow... They are very beautiful with bright pink color. Now I'm not wondering why you were obsessed about peonies even by having it as profile picture ;)

Other day I've seen you posted photos of some whitey flowers too. How nice to see all of 'em in a garden :)

I wonder what else blooming there? ;) More flowers to come?

You have a lovely week there dear :)

    Cheers...
