More Signs Autumn Is Near

fall trees with colorful leaves

white flowers

Can you feel it in the air? Autumn is near. It did not feel like it the past few days with high temperatures but earlier in the week I went for a walk and saw the leaves starting to turn in a few places.  It was amazing to see this tree still budding leaves that was damaged by the March Floods years ago. How does it still grow like that over the walkway?

I also wondered if this waterwheel was an original near the mill. It sure looks like it.
Have you seen one like that before?

    1. I'd love to see those George - it's starting to cool down here now. I'm sure that will make our trees turn as well.

  3. The weather here in Vermont has cooled, especially at night. The hills are tinged with red and yellow. The days are noticeably shorter. Fall is a beautiful season, but it also makes me slightly sad.

It's time to cook something with cinnamon!

  6. Not many signs yet of fall here as it is still hot. I am looking forward to the evening being cooler and seeing a few leaves fall-although we do not get a real season change here. I will miss summer though...
