Beautiful sunset in November |
A beautiful sky at dusk |
Why kind of tree is this with red leaves still? |
Most of the leaves have now fallen |
I had to stop and view the sunset on my way home from work. Seeing the wires was a beautiful sight as many are still without power on the East Coast from Sandy's wrath. It was the last drive home with daylight. Monday it will be dark when I drive home as we change the clocks back to Daylight Saving Time once again. It will be dark when we awake and go to sleep.
Don't forget to fall back this weekend too and enjoy that extra hour of sleep.
you have a bit more color still clinging than we do here.
ReplyDeleteHi Olga, yes - surprisingly we do. I went for a walk today near a Riverwalk and lots of color to share soon. And you could tell Sandy visited as well.
DeleteGreat pics Lisa! WHat's the temps like up there. We're in the 50's all week. Just popped outside and it feels like SNOW! Woohoo!!
ReplyDeleteThanks Brenda, yes, here too. But it felt nice with the sun out. I like it as long as I don't need the winter coat on.
DeletePretty pictures.
ReplyDeleteI for one am glad we are going back to the normal time.
I wish they would do away with DST!!
Yes, I would have to agree, don't like waking up and coming home in darkness every day.
DeleteBeautiful picture Lisa!
ReplyDeleteSorry, I had to delete my old Blogger profile.
Thanks Annetta! No problem. Glad you checked out the photos.
DeleteLovely sentiments and thanks for sharing the photos!
ReplyDeleteI'm in Australia and we are opposite...we have moved into Daylight Savings now and I am enjoying the long, lazy evenings outside after months of cold, sleet, semi darkness on the way home from work.
Aaah we may be in different time zones but the simple joys remain the same, the world over!
Thanks Tony for coming by to see the photos from Twitter. Amazing to think how that works isn't it? One side of the world in one season and the other side in another. Had to wrap my head around it sometimes.
