The Last Shots At Dusk Before DayLight Saving Time

beautiful sunset

Why kind of tree is this with red leaves still?
missing leaves on trees
Most of the leaves have now fallen
I had to stop and view the sunset on my way home from work.  Seeing the wires was a beautiful sight as many are still without power on the East Coast from Sandy's wrath.  It was the last drive home with daylight.  Monday it will be dark when I drive home as we change the clocks back to Daylight Saving Time once again. It will be dark when we awake and go to sleep.

Don't forget to fall back this weekend too and enjoy that extra hour of sleep.

The Late Colors of Fall Around The Mill

You can still see the damage from the March floods

The walking path
So many leaves already have fallen

The varying of the temperatures lately have made the leaves colors pop out and the rain and wind made them fall as well. It was a beautiful warm Fall day recently for a walk and time for a few of nature's views.
Have the leaves all fallen in your area yet?

It was a beautiful warm day yesterday at the Scituate Art Festival but not as hot as last year's festival. I thought I would take pictures of the walk from the festival to the car as it is surrounded by beautiful nature around the reservoir. The walk is always a long one on a gorgeous day to and from the festival. I did get one shot of a painting to share here.
Do you get outdoors on Columbus Day weekend?

The Muted Colors Of Autumn

Red Leaves

Fall yellow trees

fog

The past few days have been rather dreary in the skies but nature's colors are getting deeper as the Autumn season moves into October. We've had rain and fog as the weekend approaches. It will be time for the local art festival which is usually the most colorful time of year in this area. Last year it was hot during the Scituate Art Festival.

Do you have festivals over the Columbus Day Weekend in your area?

Fall Colors Starting To Pop

The pond at Fall season

diving at the pond

pretty orange Fall colors

yellow fall bushes

Fall is starting  to show it's colors to us. I pass this pond on my ride to and from work and just had to stop last night as I could see the autumn colors starting to pop. The cooler weather does not make the diving area look inviting anymore. On a hot summer day you can see many people there jumping into the pond.

Are the colors of Fall starting to show in your area?
