Nature At Its Best With A Snow Covered Beach

The snow covered rocks at the beach

Lighthouse with snow

I've always wanted to see the beach covered in snow and I had the opportunity the other day when I had a client meeting 4 minutes from the beach after the day of a 5" snowfall. This winter's cold and snow has not stopped though it was not as much as last February's snowstorm.

It was very peaceful to spend a couple of minutes taking a few shots of the snow covered beach. It seems a little ironic to be at a beach and see snow covered rocks and sand. But the cold air really put reality in it's place.

Have you ever visited the beach in the snow?

The Last Snowfall of 2012 in Southern New England

This video was made for +Mayura De Silva  who has been asking to see it snowing since in his area of the world they do not have snow. Also +Brenda Lee who cannot wait to see her first snow of the season too. Enjoy!

This is the first daylight peek at what pilled up overnight as the sun is trying to come up. Since it's 24 degrees there will be have more time for snow taking photos later today after show shoveling. This snow will not melt fast with temps only reaching 33 degrees today. Missing summer already.

According to AccuWeather we got around 8" of the white stuff this time around.

Do you really want snow now?
