Spring is in the Sky - Photographs

Today marks Spring officially on our calendars. It may not feel like it quite yet but the skies are showing signs that Spring is here. Today's temperatures will reach into the 50's here but if we look ahead to next week's forecast there is still some snow in it. At least most of the snow is gone but you can still see some snow here and there.  

Has Spring literally arrived in your area yet or are you still having winter weather where you are? 

It does seem that the past few years we went right into summer from winter.

The Snow That Was in Southern New England From Hercules

The storm Hercules did not leave us a lot of snow like others in Massachusetts had received. We got a good 6-8" of snow around this area. I felt like I was driving all alone to work that morning and the city streets were the worst for not being plowed well. 
Of course what followed was a steep drop in temperatures. It plunged to -5 overnight.  It did give us more snow than we had received in December. It looks like it may not stay around for long as temperatures are expected to hit the 40's with rain in the coming days.

Fishing On A Very Blue Day At The Lake

This past weekend I went fishing on a lake. It was a beautiful day with highs around 80. The sky was so blue as the water too. I'm not a big fan of  fishing but it was nice to see nature all around so beautiful. I would say peaceful but the boaters were quite loud at times around this lake. It was a little different from being at the ocean during the heatwave.
