Coming back home from the warm Southwest was not easy. Fall was upon us in Southern New England and the temperatures began to fall. (No more shorts anad sandals). The beauty of the Fall season could be found everywhere. The colors could be seen at their best at sunset as I drove home from work. It's back to the routine as the seasons change and winter will arriving in a month's time.
What is you favorite season to watch the beauty of nature?

October Came In With Bright Colors and Warmth
October came in warm and sunny with the colors of the trees getting vibrant. What a difference a few weeks has made! It looks like Fall but feels like summer. The pond looked beautiful one morning on my way to work. The city at lunchtime was fabulous with temps near 80's and blue skies.
The Old Farmer's Almanac has us down for a cold and snowy winter. I'm hoping their will NOT be snow and ice on the pumpkins like a few winters ago.
How is Fall looking and feeling in your area?

The Crisp Leaves of Fall
The crisp leaves of Fall are really starting to pop out from the rain we recently had here in Southern New England. These were taken at 2 different streams/rivers locally. You can see the difference in the colors from just a few short days ago. In just a few weeks the full colors of Fall should be all around us here. It is beautiful but we know what comes next.
Is your area getting crisp colored leaves?

October Snow and Ice
We received more ice than snow in central Rhode Island from this early Nor'easter
Many folks did lose power in the area
Some trees didn't get any ice and it still look like it's fall
